The GHOST CONTROLS standard non-contact photo eyes are specifically tailored for use with any of our automatic gate opener systems. These standard photo eyes:

• Can be used for applications other than Ghost Controls openers. NOTE-Check with your specific product application instruction manual for proper wiring diagram.

• Are wired at both beams. These are NOT reflective beams so trenching across your driveway may be required.

• Are designed with weather-resistant housings rated for the outdoor environment

• Feature dual beams that can be programmed individually to minimize interference in installations with multiple photo eyes that may cause cross-talk

• Include X-axis and Y-axis adjustments to aid in setup

• Utilize smart power consumption and feature a built-in alarm

• Include fail-safe operation so that the gate opener system will not operate if the photo beam is not working properly

• Use of Monitored or Standard Photo Eyes requires that your system is using our AC Transformer to maintain a charged battery. You cannot use Solar Power with Photo Eyes in your installation.

• Require low voltage wire (sold separately) for connection to main system controller

• Single and dual gate openers typically install 2 pairs or kits (a total of 4 photo eyes). One pair is installed for opening cycle and the second pair is installed for closing cycle.
